lyrra’s founder WAS Invited as Special Stage Host for China-Italy Chamber of Commerce Annual Gala "Notte Italiana 2019"

Along with the Italian National Olympic Committee

On November 16th, 2019, the China-Italy Chamber of Commerce (CICC) hosted its annual gala dinner, Notte Italiana 2019, at the Park Hyatt Beijing. The event was held under the patronage of the Embassy of Italy in the P.R.C., the Italian National Olympic Committee (CONI), the Municipality of Milan, the Municipality of Cortina d'Ampezzo, and the Fondazione Cortina 2021.

As part of the Fourth Week of Italian Cuisine in the World, Notte Italiana 2019 aimed to promote the excellence of Italian culinary culture while celebrating the upcoming Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics. The evening began with performances by Chinese and Italian opera singers, featuring excerpts from The Marriage of Figaro and The Journey to Reims, setting a grand and elegant tone for the event.

Opening speeches were delivered by Mr. Giuseppe Fedele, Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of Italy in the P.R.C., and Mr. Davide Cucino, Chairman of CICC. Further remarks were shared by Col. Alessandro Nencini, Economic and Financial Police Attaché, introducing the collaboration between the Italian Customs Corps and the China Mountaineering Association. World Ski Champion and Cortina 2021 Ambassador Kristian Ghedina joined the evening to share his inspiring journey in professional skiing.

Angelina Saiyi Li, Founder of LYRRA, was honored to serve as the official bilingual stage host, gracefully guiding the evening's proceedings and introducing distinguished guests.

In recognition of Angelina role, a bespoke stage outfit was specially designed by an Italian fashion designer, showcasing both her cultural elegance and the organizers’ appreciation for her symbolic presence.

LYRRA also participated as an official media guest, contributing to the event’s communication and international outreach, solidifying its position as a bridge between global cultural narratives and high-end lifestyle expression.

Michelin-starred chef Luigi Nastri curated a Sino-Italian fusion menu for over 500 distinguished guests, offering a true celebration of Italian culinary heritage.
